Shoshone (2004-2016)

The first year I ran him, Shoshone went way above and beyond the call of duty. As a two year old, he led most of Race to the Sky including a couple of legs where he was in single lead. He’s tough and driven and fast. With people, he’s a bit shy. We are working on that. I think we can get him to realize that most people will be nice to him. Shoshone is a bit like his sire, Quinn, in that he wants to be the alpha. He probably has the physical and mental wherewithal to do it, but I don’t know. I think in the few quick brawls he and Gonja have had, before I could break them up the G boy came out on top. I don’t think he’s tried to challenge Sima. Another member of the Silly Lake Lap Dog Association, even when he doesn’t know a person and is a bit scared, he’ll lean into them.
